The start of E.J.
Edgerton & Son begins with Eric J Edgerton
who founded the business at Bradenheath Nr
Whitchurch in 1935. |
With the retirement of
Eric J Edgerton in 1965 the business was passed down
to John Edgerton who was director of the
business until his passing in 1975.

From 1975 to present
E.J. Edgerton and Son saw dramatic changes when
David Carpenter (son-in-law) and Carolyn
Carpenter, (daughter) to John Edgerton, grew the
business by providing a wider range of services,
including a monumental masons business, which
commenced in 1993. E.J Edgerton expanded it services
further in 2007 by opening a funeral directing
office and monumental memorials showroom in nearby
Whitchurch where there are a wide variety of granite
memorials on display. |

Jonathan Carpenter, son of
David, works alongside David in all
aspects of the business and will lead the success of
E.J Edgerton & Son into the 21st Century.
